Me. Sleeping snugly in our brightly colored sheets. I'm butted up to you slightly, facing away. You snooze peacefully, radiating heat like the sun. The air-conditioner blows softly and the bright sheets wrap around me but my arm and leg lay free in the cool air. The light in the room is soft and white, peeking through our curtains quietly. The world lay perfectly still.
[Cut to] Lightning strike, 50 yards from the house; immediate pounding rain.
Me. Crouching from behind the bed. (Can't fit underneath)
